Specialized Sports Massage in St. George, UT

Enhance your athletic performance, speed up recovery, and prevent injuries with targeted sports massage therapy at my Washington County studio.

About Sports Massage And My Approach

While sports massage certainly benefits professional athletes who compete in various physical activities, this technique is quite dynamic and helps improve one's performance and recovery after workouts or competitions.

It combines such techniques as deep tissue friction, active stretches, and myofascial release which help address the problem of eliminating metabolic waste, improving joint flexibility, and resolving functional imbalance.

Sports massage is aimed at all people who actively use their physical abilities by challenging themselves. If you participate in the next triathlon competition, cycle, lift weights, or regularly visit the gym, you definitely need this modality. It is highly beneficial both before events to prepare the tissues and muscles for physical activity and after events to reduce the DOMS and improve the process of cellular recovery.

Unlike the ordinary sports massage you can receive from a chain spa, a sports massage I provide at Pinnacle Massage will differ from the ordinary in terms of personal approach. Instead of following the same sequence of strokes which relaxes the client, I consider the individual characteristics of each customer. I try to understand which sport you do, how much you train, and what are the problems with your joints' mobility. As a result, you will leave my studio not only with increased flexibility but also with a body prepared for the physical exertion.

Whether you are battling tight calves after a long run on the Virgin River Trail, nursing sore shoulders from mountain biking Bearclaw Poppy, or recovering from a grueling Pickle Ball tournament at Little Valley Fields, I customize the treatment to your specific athletic needs.
